MISSING EPISODES

Here are the episodes that were not shown in the U.S., or at least not in Massachusetts. If you have seen these episodes (in English), please fill me in on any changes from the Japanese version if there are any.

Holiday Festival: Ash and the others met Ash's mom and Prof. Oak, and they tried to raise funds for an old man. They tried to throw a festival with a beauty queen and Pokémon costume contest, and as usual, Team Rocket breaks in and gets beaten by Ash's Pokémon. Ash's mom won the beauty queen contest and she said goodbye to Ash. (which explains the flashback in the Drowzee/Hypno episode)

REASON: James takes cross-dressing too far...

(This was aired around the end of June 2000, with the "bad" scene cut out.)

Dratini's Legend: Dratinis, mythical creatures who were thought to be fiction, live in a lake guarded by a sheriff. Team Rocket breaks in and gets kicked back out again.

REASON: Safari Warden takes a gun out and starts shooting...

Porygon: There is a computer problem in a PokéCenter, and Ash and his friends are forcefully sent in by a scientist to check on the situation. Team Rocket was stealing Pokéballs there, and they fought Ash with their usual Koffing, Ekans, and Meowth. Nurse Joy didn't know that there were people in there, and sent an anti-virus in to fix the problem. Porygon showed up and led Ash and the others to safety.

REASON: This is the episode that got thousands of Japanese kids seizures.
