Cloud struggled with himself. After running out of the bar last night, all he could see was darkness and a small box of light from which he could see what he was doing.
" Damnit!! STOP!" He screamed into the darkness. He just could'nt believe Sephiroth was about to make him destroy his friends. Cloud removed his sword and began to slash out at the light, but at every blow the sword was deflected.
" ARRR Braver!" Cloud yelled! The slash ripped into the light, causing a small rip to appear in the darkness.
Cloud smirked at this, and prepared to show Sephiroth who was in control of this body. " Omnislash....."
" Damnit Cloud! Git outta the way!" Barret yelled shooting a barrage of bullets at Sephiroth. " Kill Him!" Rude screamed rushing at Cloud, grabbing for his weapon.
" No! We cant kill Cloud!" Yuffie cried out crashing into Rude at full force. " If we kill him, we may never be able to....." Tifa's speech was cut off by a loud scream.
Cloud clutched his head, screaming. Cid ran up to his friend and reached out to him. " OMNISLASH!!!" Cloud screamed swinging outward. Cid closed his eyes preparing for death, but opened them in time to see Cloud strike Sephiroth across the chest.
Sephiroth's eyes opened wide in anger and surprise. " Damn you. I should have known you were too strong. Well now you will die as well! Dark Wing!"
A large wave of darkness washed towards the group. Everyone dropped to the ground, except for Rude who was standing up after being tackled by Tifa. Rude looked at the wave of power flying at him. " Oh shit...." was all he could manage as the wave ripped him in half.
Reno leaped up. " RUDE!!!!" Reno ran up to Sephiroth and began to swing at him wildly. Sephiroth slashed his sword out in one movement, ending Reno's life, and a shock wave sent Red sprawling to the ground.
" Jesus..... I dont think we are gonna make it..." ¥eÅd whispered, wishing he never came.
" Come on guys! Everyone hit him with attacks!" Yuffie cried.
" Yeah guys come on! Hit him with attacks!!" Barret yelled
" Braver!"
" Greased lightning!"
" Big Shot!"
" Boost jump!"
" Blast Shock!"
Cloud, Yuffie, Barret, Cid and ¥eÅd leaped at Sephiroth attacking with all they had. But still Sephiroth shrugged off the wounds and counter attacked.
Cloud closed his eyes for a moment, thinking of a solution to this battle. "He's just too damn strong, theres no way we can penetrate his defense and kill him."
Cloud opened his eyes to find himself in a small room. " This is Aeris' room!"
" Yes" Aeris' voice came from behind him. " Cloud, you cant let Sephiroth win, if you do the Planet will surely die with you. Take this materia and attack with it."
" But, this is an ice materia...and it isnt even mastered!" Cloud exclaimed. " Trust me Cloud...please trust me." Aeris replied.
Cloud blinked, and found himself back in the slums, with the ice materia. He stood and approached Sephiroth. " Cloud....no we cant win..." Cid started to say.
" Ice....." A huge dragon crashed through the wall at this exact moment.
" Holy shit!"
" What is that!"
" Woah...cool"
" Is he good?"
" The materia....did this?!"
Everyone said something as the dragon swooped down and sliced into Sephiroths stomach. " ugh!" Sephiroth cried.
Sephiroth dropped down, his shield gone. Then a small burst of ice hit him, sending him to the ground, dying.
" The dragon, s...so strong. How cou.. how could it be so strong, as to weaken me enough.. so th..that a sim..simple ice spell could kill... m.m...me" Sephiroth asked, as he died.
" If the ice materia, didnt create the dragon, what did?!" Cloud cried out.
The door opened and a dark figure stepped into the room.
" VINCENT! Where have you been!?!" Yuffie cried out. " Your THE VINCENT!" ¥eÅd asked.
" That was you wasn't it!?" Cloud asked. " And why didnt Sephiroth assume you would attack?"
" He thought I was dead, and if you think it was me, maybe it was." Vincent replied coldly walking back out. " Weird ass freak." Barret said standing up.
A knocking on the door woke Cloud up from a short nap he was taking. He took his sword out and slowly opened the door.
" AHH! Cloud! Put your sword away!!" Tifa cried, surprised by the sword in her face.
" Sorry Tifa." He said putting his sword on the ground.
Tifa looked around the bar. " It's ok. But anyways, what did I miss while I was at Icicle Inn?"
