Swim in the sky

Do the Swordless Link trick. Then go to Lake Hylia and summon the scarecrow on the Lakeside Lab. Hop on Epona and hookshot the scarecrow. Get off of Epona and push up on the control stick. (You should be sky surfing) Go to the far side of the lake where the wall is the lowest. A bird will come and hit you and knock you over the wall. You can swim around outside of Lake Hylia now. If you swim too far or too deep you will warp to the warp pad in the middle of the lake.
