What's up with this guy? According to the Japanese Zelda team his name is Kaepora Gaebora. He is in this adventure to help Link along. Explaining and pointing out monuments and sites in Hyrule along the way; he may have been the most expendable member in the adventure. Kaepora is also known to inhabit the Dream island which makes his appearance strange. Maybe Link was daydreaming whenever he saw him?
