Here you'll find a list of games that we played during the 8th LAN party. We also gave comments on them.     This game was played quite a few times. Real Time Strategy games are always nice to play and this one is probably the best. Favorite map was "War of the Worlds" where everybody had zillions of minerals to mine and loads of space to explore. Too bad that some were a bit rusty at this game. But cheers go to Ziggy, who survived long enough to get his butt kicked later on.     First there was Doom, then Quake and Quake II. Now there is Half-Life. We switched to this game because Quake II was getting boring. We found that this games quite cool and played it a zillion times. That is when we didn't have trouble connecting to the server... Also Black Russian invented a new term "Happy Camping". Its like acting as a sniper but then.. oh nevermind.     Actually, we only played it twice. The game is fast and fairly good looking but it misses one thing; weapons! And strangely enough, Sigma's podracer was faster then any other racer?!     Another RTS that we played quite a bit. Sadly the multiplayer function didn't work very well. That didn't keep die-hard C&C fans like NiKs and Chemist from playing it a lot. Oh well, its probably because they like to hear those little men scream... ARGH! MEDIC!   Like Quake II, this used to be an alltime favorite. But it got old and its not that good anymore. Still its fun to blow someones head away from a 5 mile distance. Maybe we should try new levels though... Sorry, no screenshots.
