CDG-1B Cudgel

Few things are as frightening as an assault 'Mech with a melee weapon, andIDC's mace-fisted Cudgel proves it with a vengeance. Equipped with justenough weapons to keep it competitive against long-range opponents, it is capable of delivering devastating damage in hand-to-hand combat.

"Masher"
One of the only 'Mechs to be taken into the arena by its designer, Masher was piloted by Bertrum Moss, engineer and MechWarrior wannabe. Despite an encouraging first match, Moss failed to make the grade and eventually sold his beloved 'Mech to a hot young jock.

[Editor's Notes: Notes list a 400XL engine at 26.25 tons; sheet shows stats (speed, heat sinks not in engine, etc.) for 320XL. LA is missing the hand actuator it needs to use the Mace. Notes show 16 DHS, sheet shows 12. Both show MASC split between legs. 19 tons underweight by the Record Sheet (at 4/6). By the TR-style writeup, though it's listed at 4/6 (8), the weight works out perfectly as a 5/8 (10) with the listed 6-ton Mace and 16 DHS, and the specified 400XL engine at 26.25 tons. Since the weight working out on a Solaris mech is a miracle, that's the version I present here.]
