Memetics
This is yet another sphere I've added to my list of Mage specialization areas. It covers the higher realms of study covered in Paradigma. More to the point it covers the field of study regarding the creation of magickal entities or artifical elementals known as servitors.

Meme Constructs
This catagory is quite diverse in that just about everything you can name is a construct of various dimensions of definitions. What is specificly important however is the way these constructs propagate and transmute/mutate. However one must first attempt to define what it is that they are measuring. Since these things can copy themselves as well as completely transform it appears that such measurements are nearly impossible. Try finding a gauge for desire itself and you might get an idea of what I'm talking about. Polytransexistents are the best definition I can give these things yet ironically this does little to differentiate and define and so measuring memetic growth can only be done indirectly through the reality shaping events that they produce.
The Oneira
Very little is written of the Oneira. However it can be said that this race of Chimerical creatures are not all too different then us. They live off of and as dreams. It is said that they exist primarily in the dreamlands, which puts them dead smack in the middle of societies collective unconscious. Which means they have a considerable amount of influence on our reality and that we have just as much influence on them. The Oneira are considerably a complex and difficult race to define and perhaps one could even say that they are all forms of mental evolution of existence that for some reason or another have become disillusioned with the Dreaming and thus being able to see it for what it is have gained the power to manipulate it. Of course some continue to become ensnared and captivated with the Dreaming and so they wind up living in it like any other form of reality. Thus you and I could be considered Oneira. If your confused by this then perhaps I have suceeded in only wetting your appetite.
The Spirit Sphere & The Sphere of Dimensional Science
Being the final sphere before one deals with the manifested world the spirit sphere offers some of the greatest insight into the realms beyond and now it has been blended with dimensional science to produce the sphere of Memetics. Specifically dealing with the manifestation process this new memetics allows one to perceive patterns in various levels of clarity. While utilized mostly to perceive the state of being of the astral realm or theoretical reality this sphere also gives one a second sight into the nature of reality and an understanding of things on a more symbolic and mystical or enlightened level. One can seek out the other aspects of ones self and can also alter ones existence by enhancing ones influences upon both planes of being. Since this sphere governs that which comes before the spheres of manifestation it is perhaps best used as a learning tool to discover what one needs to learn next to advance themselves often allowing one to access information on a much quicker level by opening the portals to the more intuitive levels of ones psyche. The dreaming, as the astral realms are often referred to by myself, is also a great way to project what your desires are and to see how they are coming along towards manifestation. While Prime handles the desire and Entropy handles the probabilities Spirit handles the detail work before the official outcome. This is the realm of unmanifested potentials and happens to be the most active of realms throughout the entire tellurian. I've even heard of contests among various mages over certain planes within the spirit realm and considering one can work to build there own plane besides simply just drifting through what others have built this field of study can become quite intense. -Other Notes-
Before giving the stats on how to incorporate memetics, which was first actually referred to by a William Burroughs, I'd like to mention that this sphere basically deals with the identification of existence, perception & form. It has its greatest application in sigilisations and visualisations. However it may also allow one to expand their perceptions to include an even greater multitude and range of perceptions. The following is how I would consider engaging this sphere in Mage: The Ascension.
Memetics
Mage has ability to perceive Etherically and can now see the tainted seeming of all supernatural intervention.
Mage is now aware of just how their personality is reflected upon their enviroment and how information and the proper lack of information can create an entitiy on to itself. The mage also learns how to channel their desires and is capable of generating weak servitors.
Mage has the ability to form independent entities that can act as aides in accomplishing certain magickal tasks. These entities require the mage to create them with considerable dedication to just what they can and cannot do. This is the equivalent of building a servitor. Mage can also bind, partially, in a given deal or bargain an already pre-existing entity; spiritual beings if combined with spirit, living beings if combined life and mind and the list goes on if properly explained and worked out.
Mage can now persuade someone, or guide someone or being, into accomplishing a specific task for them by crafting a memetic thread. Mage can also build more powerful servitors up to and including egregores. They can also build astral counterparts to material objects by enhancing the patterns through sigilisation and visualisation.
At this level the mage has the ability to utilize larger areas of the collective unconscious by tapping into the archetypes and more powerful entities that reside there and by creating Memetic webs. Mage can also craft artificial dream worlds and mental ones as well but are advised to utilize glamour when doing so. This can have a wide range of effects and society as a whole may follow in the footsteps of this magickal carver of the tapestry.
