The perception of existence before manifestation

Prime
This is the sphere that studies the application and focus of desire and the generation and summoning of gnosis. Most importantly it is the study of the demiurgic processes. The formless that is the foundation and creation of all forms. I like to think that it is the study of desire as well and that quintessence is raw desire. This explains why form develops a will of its own. Since Prime is the focus of study of the formless shadow of desire that gives all forms existence one can alter the manifestation process thusly. Since all desires must manifest its a useful note to understand how. Since forms are grounds for the manifesting desire it is reasonable to point out that if the desire manifesting was diverted elsewhere the form in question would start to fade do to entropy. It is only through the continual flow of this prime force that allows manifestations to take on any qualities of stability and/or stasis. Needless to say, higher life-forms can be controlled quite easily by manipulating what types of primal desires flow into them. It is quite easy to send another into a psychotic rage simply by altering what desires and to what amounts flow into the shadow of their forms. Many prime mages have been known to manipulate others from the shadows as if they were up on puppet strings. How else could the masses and the nobles be convinced that something greater but unseen existed. It is only through presentation and practice that the prime mages were capable of getting others to realize the formless behind all forms.

Entropy
This is the sphere of probability and change. Yet it has more to do with the way patterns flow then does prime. Entropy is the sphere in which one becomes aquainted with what happens to desire manifesting after it has manifested. The breaking down of manifestation can be a highly useful skill and doesn't require one to draw upon the primal forces of existence. While prime feeds a form entropy vampirises it. Entropy is used to convert the patterns of manifestation into something other then what they appear. This process of transmutation often requires one to engineer the probabilities for existence to flow into the next form on the thread of time. When a mage successfully achieves this engineering process manifestation begins to flow into what the new formless blueprints dictate. Thus entropy does not truly break down form it merely transmutes it. However this still means the difference between life and death for some. And where the 'Good Death' is considered many are daring enough to see just what limits, if there be any, are to the sphere of entropy. As for utilizing entropy to vampirise forms it is best to have a method for converting or transmuting that energy otherwise it merely entails taking a part of one system of manifestation and placing its likeness in that of another. Which is not always a good idea and is sloppy work as any entropic mage will tell you.

Time
This is the sphere of differentiation or rather temporal reality. Time is more importantly, however, the measurement of the processes of manifestation of desire or quintessence into form. While prime deals with the shadow or the formless aspects of existence and entropy deals with how one form is transmuted into another time deals with how those forms are measured against eachother. Since the temporal is reality and ones reality is measured by the temporal then one could suggest what would happen to reality when the temporal was willed to fluctuate. Time mages have known for a great deal of, what should I say here other then, time that time fluctuates on its own do the way the primal energies manifest. A current theory about time thats being bounced around is that ones mind reacts to the time it is aware of. If this is true then the faster our minds process information the slower time will appear to flow for we will have extended its capabilities. However this also means a slower processer of information would see time flying by unable to react to the overload of information. This overloading has been nicknamed temporal stress. The reason for this is because the processes of manifestation require that desire be processed into existence and if this does not function properly then fluctuations and stress in reality begin to manifest because of it. Machines are best summarized as processessing units and those that can operate on a somewhat mental plane are known as digital boxes of psychological triggers. What this means is that processing units can be disrupted, causing greater amounts of potential entropy to occur. It also means the digital processing units of information can be reprogrammed by manipulating their psychological triggers. This reprogramming is of course one of efficiency. By building up temporal stress on such machines it begins to lock up and break down from the overload of information. The reason I said psychological triggers is because the human mind operates as a processing unit that can develop stress as well which can cause entropy to occur in the human as a product of the temporal stress. So if the sphere of time is the key to all the other spheres it highly likely that the sphere of mind is what unlocks the keys of time. Since one can manipulate time if they can manipulate the way time is perceived to pass.
