Well I didnt really know what to expect after the *wonderful* performance at the VMA's (whatever!) But I thought since the director was the same guy that directed "Everybody", this would be a pretty good video....
Ok Ill give them some credit...
The special effects were really cool! And I love at the beginning how they play clips of thier other songs. That was cute! And I also liked how they remixed the song. ..hmmm..anything else? Yeah ok they looked pretty good too...Ok thats about it!
First of all at the beginning I thought I was watching "Intergallactic" by the Beastie Boys. But then they let you know its them by putting this big BACKSTREET BOYS emblem whatever across the screen. (Ego's?) anyway...its the year 3000..and theyve been living in space? umm I wanna know who came up with THAT one? Then Brian goes flying around on a surfboard which reminded me of thier "Get Down" video for some reason. Aj has some freaky wires or something goin on I dunno. Those scenes of him seriously reminded me of Marilyn Manson's Dope show. And thats just wrong! Nick..a robot......ok next..we have Kevin flying the spaceship...*cough dying laughing cough* and then Howie..is umm..standing there? Howie's scene makes no sense! Anyway they fly around in space or something...then we get an encore of the VMA performance! SAME CLOTHES and everything!! And that girl with the red poofy hair is beginning to annoy me! I dont know why. Then Aj or Kevin or somebody THROWS a girl at Howie? Lmao Ooook guys whatever. Well the video was funny at least. I dont think it was really meant to be funny but oh well thats how I took it. Sorry. Hey maybe we'll actually get some hate mail over this! yippie!
