What can I say about Super Metroid? Only one thing! The Best Game of All Time. Well there are a few other things I can say and I will say them or there just won't be much to this review. First this is the best looking of the first three metroids that I have reviewed this week, but that was kinda obvious wasn't it. The next thing is the gameplay was finally fully realized! Super Metroid has the best gameplay control of all the 2-D metroids. Samus can wall jump(still one of the coolest and most useful moves in videogame history), aim in all 8 direction(YES!), Duck without turning a ball, and do so many other cool and improved things. And for the first time in Metroid history a Auto Map! Finally after all these years a map. And it really make the game more enjoyable, and it doesn't spoil the exploration gameplay, cause it only tells you where you've been and not where you're going.
Super Metroid is a game that every respecting gamer should play, it is a classic of amazing proportions! If you can't find a actual SNES and or a Super Metroid cart, please try the ROM.
