Things of yore bring memories from the past
How long does childhood last?
A Simple item to spark the mind
takes you back to another time
When Life was easy, and the days were fun
your life had just begun
While i stare back throught the years
I wonder why I haven't shed more tears
I didn't know what would become of me
I didn't care what would become of me
Life is so short but to a youth it seems everlasting
