Ode to TV
In my front room, on my couch
With a bag of potato chips, I love to slouch
It brings me culture of the world
And how news does unfurl
To show me how a Hurricane in Muncie destroyed the town
And show a tornado as It spins round
Quality cartoons to amuse me come from the TV
Like Futurama, the Simpsons, and DragonBall Z
I sit for hours watching, eating, and becoming fat
I sometimes resemble my old cat
I rarely leave, except for something to eat
In fact I rarely use my feet
So this poem I write to the great invention of the TV
I will constantly watch it so let me be
