Ode to my coat

When in my coat all seems well
Yes it protects my from the outside's frozen hell
But is that all it is for
No not my coat to me its something more
A regal robe to change my style?
No it seems but a simple coat most the while
Maybe a suit of armor to protect me from harm?
No but it did protect me from that rat in my grandfather's barn
Then why is my coat so special to me
It show the world my true personality.
