GSX-R vs. Jeep Cherokee?!

One night (awhile back) I was with my buddy cruising north down the highway. It was a Friday evening but suprisingly not conjested for a Friday evening heading North (near Boston). My buddy was driving his 1991 slightly modified Jeep Cherokee lmt. You heard right, a Jeep. It was a very nice SUV if I may say so. It was black with gold trim and tan leather. It had some minor mods like intake and some big ass 2-chamber Flowmasters on it. All in all it was quick for an SUV. (Since it was almost all fiberglass, it weighed very little). Anyway, we were in the passing lane doing about 80ish when my friend alerted me to a motorcycle coming up on us very quickly. After about 10 seconds, a gorgeous GSX-R 750 in white/blue pulled up beside us in the right hand lane matching our 80mph. (His cherokee got a lot of looks mainly due to the exhaust). We exchanged glances, and my friend sped up to about 90mph and moved ahead of the bike in the right lane. The GSX-R switched lanes and matched our speeds once again at about 90mph. For *fun* my friend floored his Jeep and after quite awhile (lol, sorry man but it's true) we were in the 120's. The bike was still with us but about 5-6 car lengths behind us. I should let you know something at this point. When this happened, my friend had a CBR600 and I had a Zx-6R so we were familiar with sport bikes and never thought for a sec we were going to win. Anyway, as traffic cleared a bit more the GSX-R pulled up along side us again at about 115/120mph. We were in the right lane still and he in the left lane. After matching our speed for nearly 1 minute, he glanced over and his helmet sort of jerked up clearly indicating a smile. With his crooked smile and matching helmet proped up, he pinned his throttle and off he went. We watched with smiles of our own as he sped out of sight most likely doing 150-160mph. We returned to our gracious 80mph and went on our way. But we won't forget that guy on the GSX-R 750 for as long as we live.
