Prophecy: self fulfulling, self defeating, or worthless In any event gauranteed accurate prophecy takes as long to make as it would take to wait for the future to arrive(not that it ever stays for very long). The only way to have gauranteed security, is to be dead. If you don't die of something else, you will die of _________(insert any highly improbable death scenario.) I believe in survival of the fittest. I also believe that i am not one of the fittest. I want to die someday, just not someday too soon. Long but limited life is better than life everlasting. Fire and Ice, Both are death. Both are life. Life is like a Hologram. People in different places see it differently, but it is what it is. god is an atheist. Some theists say that atheists will believe in god when bad times come, there is also a tendency for religions to tell stories of societies who grew prosperous and gave up religion thinking it was their own work. Seems to me that there is a relationship between success and religion. Increased depression increases religion. Increased success decreases religion. Therefore it is in the interest of religions to increase depresion and decrease success. if you need to have a god in order to be able to be moral and to love, then you aren't much of a person. survival of the fittest is defeated by medicine and peace. sleep is the essential, life is just there. work is work, but free time is dessert. |
