Slayers is a history of fantasy, a history of sword and sorcery, and a humorous serie. Relates the adventures of a girl what have "villains have no rights" as her motto called Lina Inverse, a great sorcerer and skilled with the sword. She hasnīt a powerful physic, but her "Dragonīs Slave" is one of the worldīs most devastating incantation. But she isnīt the only protagonist. Gourry Gabriev, a mercenary with intelligence E^{-- --}, is one of the chars that joins to the group. Like Zelgadiss Greywers, Ameria Wil Tesla Saillune, Naga the Serpent, etc.

But, in spite of the serie is very unknow for the european audience, in U.S.A. have the first 4 videos (and, for now, they donīt will have any more, because due to the american popularity, the copyrightīs owners are demanding more cash), and in Japan is a real success.
Slayers have a serie of novels, another serie of novels called Slayers SP (Special -- relate the aventures of Lina and Naga 2 years before than the original Slayers), three TV series, an R.P.G. game, a wide quantity of modules and narrations (published in Dragon Magazine), the Slayers comic, another serie of Slayers comic (drawed by Yosho Yoshinaka, based roughly in the novels, series, etc.), two or three movies, anime books, some art books, a serie of PC CD-Romīs, surely more stuff that I donīt know, and miscellaneous items like calendars, etc.

Because there are much differents stories, I advise to access to the Lina Inverseīs Slayers Page. But, if you wanna know the name of some of the principal characters, let stop the mouse a second over every pic.
