Kesac 8: Memories
OOC: I forgot to mention this in Kesac 7...
Kesac 7 takes place four miles from the Narshian Island's shore.

Kesac walked into the ruins of his former home. Twenty years had
passed since he last came here. Kesac looked over the wreckage,
a little damp from the rain. However, one dresser remained.
Kesac looked in the dresser...
...and found a book. "My father's...diary." Kesac opens it up...

There are rumors of an imperial force moving toward Jidoor. If the
Empire tries to take Jidoor, nothing will resist them. We must fight
for the right cause...against the Empire.
13-7
The Empire has moved closer. The citizens of Jidoor are panicking
while the Imperial forces just march. We must organize a defense!
14-7
The Imperial forces are attacking our house! We---------

The diary ended there. Kesac sighed. At least the fire had not
destroyed everything. The Imperials finally took Jidoor, and Kesac
went to live in secrecy. Twenty years had passed...
"Eh...what's this?" A piece of paper had fallen out of the diary...

Kesac...
If you are reading this, it means I am dead. You should not fret over
my death, and you should look toward the future. Sometimes, however,
you need to look to the past to look in the future. Thus, I leave
the combination to open the family crypts with you. The crypts are
to the north, by the mountain.

Kesac looked at the ground. His father...the last reminder of his
life. Kesac looked to the sky...
-Father...I will not forget you...-
Kesac suddenly realised the meaning of the note. -The family crypts?
I need to check this out...-

By the mountain...
Kesac moved his hands over the mountain walls. -Hmm...looking for
three knobs...- Kesac moved his hands to the left, left, left...
-Ah...there they are...-
Kesac turned the knobs into position. Suddenly, a rock slid away,
leaving an opening about ten feet tall by six feet wide. In the
opening, darkness.

30 years past...
"You're a chicken! You won't go in there!", yelled Rekar.
"I will...and there's nothing you can do about it!", yelled Kesac back.
Kesac and Rekar were near a mountain cave, southwest of Zozo. Kesac
shrugged. "I'm going in now!" Kesac went into the cave...
"Ahhh! A leafer! Run!" Kesac bolted out of the cave...and suddenly
stopped. "What are we running for? We can take a leafer!"
Rekar echoed Kesac. "Yeah! Let's get him!"
The leafer bounded out of the cave. "Get ready!" Kesac slashed at the
leafer with his short sword. "Good hit! The leafer looks hurt!"
Rekar leaped at the leafer and slashed, also hitting. The leafer
rolled over, dead.
"Yeah! We got him!"

Kesac looked at the entrance, drew his sword, and entered the crypts.

OOC: Well...that's it for Kesac 8. It's 1AM...so I'm a bit tired.
