There have been five major Zelda games that involve Link trying to get the Triforce and save Zelda, except in the gameboy version were Links trying to wake the windfish.

The five major Zelda games, from the Zelda series, have been on four major systems, all from Nintendo. The games are:

The Legend of Zelda Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
Zelda II The Adventures of Link Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
The Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES)
The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening Now Available!! Game Boy
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (closed) Nintendo 64 (N64)
The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening Deluxe Now Available! Game Boy Color

Related Zelda Games

NOTE - The Legend of Zelda Links Awakening Deluxe, even though it's not a whole separate adventure, is on a diffrent system, Gameboy Color, and also has some changes from the original Link's Awakening. And because of the changes, expecially since it's in full color, I have included a full page on The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening Deluxe.

There were also five other games of the Zelda series! Three of them for the CD-I, and two that were only available on the Nintendo's Satellaview in Japan. The three CD-I games were Zelda's Adventures, Zelda The Wand of Gamelon, and Link The Faces of Evil. And the two Zelda games that were available on the Sattelaview, from Nintendo were, BS Legend of Zelda, and BS Zelda Ancient Stone Panel. On this page I will have links to other pages that will have info about the Zelda game that you clicked on. On that page I will have backround info, I will tell you about the story, I will tell you about the Japanese edition, and I'll also tell you whatever else I can about the game. So have fun looking at all this info about, the past and present of the Zelda series, and of the Zelda games themselves.

If you see "Closed" after the title above, we currentlyare working on that page. So check back again later.
