Invisible Walls
The Vision
by Kassandra Kane
Scarfs - soft and sensuous
Yet bright and strong
Decorating your wrists
Secured through hooks.
Soft, fur-lined blindfold
Kissing your eyelids
Cradling your head
Keeping darkness safe.
Long, thick nylon cord
For knots and not
Macrame your body
Knots pressing - here - and there
The weight of the crop in my hand
The whistle as it cuts through the air
Caressing the inside of your thigh...
You tense.
The soft, urgent sounds of your moans
Lust, pain, anxiety - a shudder
I watch the glisten of your moisture
The treasure you offer to me.
Safe Word
by Kassandra Kane .
She turned and watch her Mistress swing
That woman loved to tease
As passion smoldered in her eyes
She softly whispered, "Please...
Another blow across her back
A thin, red line appeared
She felt herself close to the edge...
The edge of what she feared.
Then one last time, she felt it strike
The cane she'd come to dread
She knew she'd won - she swelled with pride
She hadn't hollered "Red."
Reflection
By Kassandra Kane - 11/20/91
I close my eyes and
visualize how it felt
to hold you in my arms.
As I felt your warmth,
it seemed as if
our lives blended
and our spirits
merged.
You touched me - not
just physically - but
emotionally and
spiritually.
You shared with me
your time, your
laughter, your
ideas and your
dreams.
You shared with me
a part of yourself
I don't think you've
shown to anyone
else.
You shared with me
that magical
essence of your
wisdom - your beauty -
your soul.
I treasure the memories
of what we had -
and who we were -
and my dreams of
who we could have
become.
Thank you.
Invisible Walls
By Kassandra Kane - 09/27/93
We sit together
Yet so far apart
The distance of time and intention
Creating invisible walls.
Where did it go?
That connection - that bond
That essence of "us"
Alive now only in memories
The shattered dreams
Built on broken trust and empty promises
Crumbled long ago,
A powdery pile of porcelain dust.
Shards of broken hopes and expectations
Cut deeply if I stir into them
It's so easy to fix blame
To mourn what might have been.
"If only you..... "
How could we have let it happen?
You had to follow your dream
And I had my own path to walk.
So the distance of time and intention
Created invisible walls
So we could sit together
Yet so far apart.
