Mistress Kassandra walked into the room wearing a flowing robe. "It is time to thank the Goddess for your opportunity to serve her." she said. She began the opening ritual for the Kollege; a ritual she called "Fire & Ice." Each of the slaves was given a small notebook. They were instructed to open to the first page, and read what it said. Robert read the words Mistress Kassandra had written on the page to him; "Respectful Obedient Bottom, during your stay, you will be called "rob." You will look up the meaning of the words at the end of the Fire & Ice Ritual, and design an appropriate definition for each."
"Each of you will now read the first sentence in your journals, as a way to introduce yourselves" Mistress Kassandra said.
The first slave on the left said, "Domestic Accepting Novice, during your stay, you will be called 'dan'."
The slave next to dan read, "Chaste Honest Useful Kink, during your stay, you will be called 'chuk'." It was then rob's turn to read.
The last slave read, "Enthusiastic Domestic, during your stay, you will be called 'ed'."
The ritual continued. Mistress Kassandra explained that the notebook was her property, and that each of them was required to write in it every night a description of their day. They must write a minimum of 25 words, but were permitted to write as much as time allowed. She then explained the basic positions of submission she preferred; standing, kneeling up, kneeling down, and presenting. They were demonstrated by colin as she described them.
She closed the ritual by reminding the slaves that until they left the Kollege, they were her property. She alone would determine what they would be doing and when. Not everyone would be doing the same thing, or have the same experience, but the experience of each slave would be based on her preference, and on her evaluation of the application.
Two dictionaries and a small box of pencils were brought into the room, and the slaves were instructed to begin to write their definitions of the words in their notebooks. They were given permission to use the bathroom during this period, and to help themselves to water. They were told that after they had finished the definitions, they were to complete their first journal entry and report to Mistress Marguerite.
As each completed the assignment, Mistress Marguerite told them to collect their belongings and follow her. She led them into the sleeping room, and assigned them a pallet. "Put your sheet on the pallet, and your journal under it. You may use your towel and washcloth as a pillow if you wish."
She then put the slave into bondage for the night. dan and ed were both restrained with leather cuffs padlocked on their ankles and wrists. rob and chuk wore heavy iron shackles. They lay down on their pallets and thought about sleep, when Mistress Kassandra entered the room. She was carrying light blankets.
"Tonight, you have the privilege of having blankets. It is a privilege you must earn each day." Caringly, almost like a loving parent, she opened a blanket over each of them. "Sleep well, tomorrow will be a busy day." she said as she turned off the light.
They lay in the darkness. The evening had been intense, yet extremely pleasurable. There was no doubt in rob's mind that he was totally and completely owned, a situation he had longed for. Gradually, he became aware of the music. It was relaxing and peaceful, playing softly in the background. One by one, the slaves drifted into heavy breathing and snoring. Rob slept fitfully in his bondage the first night at the Kollege, anxious about the next day.
The sound of faint music drifted in the room all night, periodically with the voice of Mistress Kassandra repeating the ten rules for slaves. Although he heard the voice of the Mistress several times during the night, he felt as if he slept well.
He awoke to the first full day at the Kollege when the music became louder, and he heard the Mistress's voice over the speakers; "It's time to begin the day, slaves. You will be released from your bindings in a few minutes, and be permitted to go to the bathroom. Each of you will have exactly 120 seconds to use the bathroom and report back to the sleeping area to clean it up."
"A hundred and twenty seconds? That's only two minutes! That's not enough time!" he thought as ralf, one of the staff slaves, appeared in the room with keys and unlocked the restraints on each of the slaves.
The first slave to go to the bathroom was back in just over a minute and a half. Then it was rob's turn. He got to the bathroom and saw that the door was secured open, and colin stood just outside the door with a stopwatch in his hand. rob quickly went into the bathroom, emptied his bladder and rushed out of the bathroom. Colin stood in front of him.
"Good morning, rob. This ritual is designed to help you serve our Mistress better. It should be remembered, thought about and taken to heart. You will be expected to reveal what you believe the following words mean to you. What is your aspiration?"
"My aspiration is to serve Mistress Kassandra."
"What is your attitude?"
"My attitude is to obey Mistress Kassandra to the best of my ability."
"What is your desire?"
"My desire is to serve, obey, accept and please Mistress Kassandra."
"Very good, slave rob."
With that, colin stepped aside, and rob hurried back to the sleeping room.
"Your first priority is to take care of Mistress Kassandra's property." instructed ralf. "You will clean your restraints, and police the sleeping area before you take your showers and start breakfast."
"Go to the kitchen and get a bowl of warm water." ralf told rob. "And dan, you are to open the bottom drawer of that dresser and get four cleaning cloths."
Dan got the four cloths and distributed one to each of the slaves, and ralf instructed them on how to wipe down the leather restraints and dry them carefully, then put them away for the day. They then collected the linen and put it into the hamper, and were sent, one at a time, to take a quick shower. As they completed their showers and dried themselves, they were instructed to report to the kitchen for breakfast duty.
Rob and dan were the first to report to the kitchen, and colin gave each of them assignments to prepare breakfast. There were two meals to prepare; the meal for the slaves, including the staff slaves, which was to be served at 7:30a.m. and the meal for Mistress Kassandra, Mistress Marguerite and any Dominants-in-Training, which was to be served at 8:00a.m.
While rob and dan were busy in the kitchen, chuk and ed were assigned to pick up the towels and linens and start the laundry.
The first meal was simple, high-fiber fare, with fresh fruit available and plenty of water. There was no caffeine or sugar allowed for the slaves. About 7:45a.m., colin started to brew fresh coffee for the Mistresses, and the aroma filled the kitchen.
Mistress Kassandra walked into the dining area a little before 8:00a.m. Mistress Marguerite accompanied her, and they were deep in discussion. They walked over to the table, and ralf was already standing nearby to pull out their chairs for them. He then turned to ed, who was helping clean up the kitchen and told him to bring coffee for the Mistresses.
Although the slaves were expected to help prepare the meals for the Mistresses, colin did the cooking himself, and made sure that as soon as the coffee was poured, the rest of the breakfast was ready. He instructed chuk to serve the melon slices as he cracked the eggs open on the edge of the pan. The bacon was already cooked crisp, the way Mistress Kassandra liked it, and the toast was in the toaster.
Soon, the Mistresses finished their meals, and went to the back of the house. The slaves quickly cleaned up the rest of the kitchen, and reported to the common area for their next assignment.
