This tower is designed to absorb all manner of spells. If a spell of high-energy, like a fireball, lightning bolt, or any such spell, is cast within one of the rooms, a special 'shield-ike' energ wall is created around those within. This allows the small rooms to be use for spells like fireball that take up large amounts of space.

Outside the rooms, but still within the tower, no spell functions. This is a safty precaution, in case a laze student forgets to shut a door, or two people with to duel with magic.
