Dwarves prefer living under the mountains where they can be near their
precious metals.  Dwarves have the innate visual ability to see in the dark,
although this ability is limited.  Characterized by their stocky build and
long, flowing beards, dwarves tend to be hearty but less educated than the
other races of the realms.  Dwarves have a weakness for good, strong ale and
can often be found at the nearest tavern, sampling the local drink.  A
serious and hard-working race, dwarves often view others with suspicion
and distrust.  Deep in the Kentalaruu mountains, the dwarves have built
the glorious city of Tahrenia.
