A brief history of the Pack of the Grey Eyed Wolf
The original idea of the Pack of the Grey Eyed Wolf was a guild for
honorable thieves and bards who were against the idea of stealing from
other players to join together and form a guild. Now, although this was a
good idea, members later decided that members of any class would be
welcome, and thieves and bards would have preference and not be made to
quest for admission. The original founder of the guild was a thief by the
name of Lycurgus. However, the guild did not come to fruition until
another thief, Svet, assumed control of the guild following the departure
of Lycurgus. And it was she, with the aid of her members, who laid down
the guild guidelines and policies. As the guild was founded on honor, and
respect for other players, needless killing and stealing from others was
outlawed. The guild members also strongly believed that players new to the
realms of Doraak should be encouraged to stay, and that assisting them
would be of great import in improving the Edge of Darkness. Later,
however, Svet would resign her term as guildmistress. Following a short
period of time in which a third thief, Deth, served as guildmaster, the
remaining Wolves ultimately decided that a council of three members would
govern the Pack,
