What is a BBS?
This page takes a while to load, but is a great way to see what a BBS looks like :) Since I no Longer operate it I have it up for sale, for $25.00 you can get a full functioning BBS on a CD. It ocmes with over $450.00 of software and all the batch files. Just "drop" it onto a Hard Drive and you are good to go. E-mail me if you are interested!
This is the main page when you first log on
As you can see I was using win98 hyperterminal. If you do not have it, then goto winfile and get a telentr client. Make sure you use your real name, all names are kept confidential. You will never get any spam or get put on any mailing list from this information. A lot of the games are international and a real name is needed to ensure you only have one player in each game :)
This is the MAIN menu, from here you go to other places on the BBS.
This is the Message menu, we offer free e-mail (firstname.lastname@warpgate.com). Ther other Mail areas are like newsgroups without spam, XXX stuff or other crap. Mostly discussions on any topic.
This is the news/help section, alot of good information here, as well as scores
This is the File menu, we have many files, but I will admit that the internet has more LOL.
This is the Time Bank. On our BBS there is a time limit, you can bank your time to stay on longer in the future.
