Goofy Spells

 Well I got about ten requests to have the list posted on the net.  This is a  Partial list of spells because these are the only ones I could find. I mean thatliterally of course. All player DM's know what I am talking about.

    Here is a compilation of the weird or silly spells that I have come up with in my time.  These spells can be modified altered etc, I don't care spell level or class isn't specicfied because I really don't know how to classify them so here they go.
 

Induce Bullshit Cheer:

 Level: 1
 duration:15-30 sec.
 Range: all persons playing the game,except DM
 Saving Throw: Completely serious people automatically make it.
 effect:
    This spell when cast causes all players on the Table,except DM, are caused to raise their arms and sway back and forth chanting the word Bullshit multiple times as if singing a mello song! Handy for those times when the magic missile seems to miss its target or an NPC is obviously lying through his/her teeth.
 

Power Word sneeze:

 Level: ???
 Duration: Instantaneous
 Range: touch
 effect:
     This spell causes the person touched to have the uncontrollable urge to sneeze.  The number of sneezes sneezed is 1-4 depending on the DM's roll or mood.
 

Misspell Monster:

 Level:??
 Duration: Until creatures death
 Range: Line of sight
 save: yes
 effect:
    This spell causes a monster within the range, that the caster chooses, to have its name (race/species) changed. The monster then becomes a monster of that type.  Examples, Ghost - ghast dragonne-dragon etc.  This could work out for the caster or be a very bad move.  Usually use a fifty-fifty chance of good or bad, or Dm's option, If the Dm can think of what to change it to.
 

Hoss's dust bunny Horde:

 Level:???
 Duration: Special
 Range: 1000 ft*ft*ft
 save: n/a
 effect:
    This spell causes an area of 1000 cubic ft of dust bunnies to appear in the area of the spell that the caster desires.  They stay in the area until burned, blown, or swept away in some fashion.  This could be very useful to imaginative characters or weird Dm's. Example, filling a 10x10x10 room with dust bunnies could be very deadly.
 

Exploding Familiar (from Dragon Mag.)

 Level:??
 Range: sight
 Duration: Instantaneous
 save: yes
 effect:
    This spell causes a familiar in the area, that the caster chooses to
 explode
 in a fiery ball if it fails a save vs spells. The owner will suffer the appropriate damage for the loss of the familiar. Any person within 5 feet of the familiar will also take 1-4 pts of heat damage.
 

Burning Hands (possibly from Dragon Mag. also)
 Level: 2
 Range: Fan of fire 7ft about a 180degree arc.
 Duration: Instantaneous
 save: No
 effect:
    This spells causes the casters hand to bring forth a fan of flames in a 180 degree radius in front of the caster. The caster and all within the area take 2pts of damage per level of the caster. This is a great spell to put on a scroll for those really obnoxious characters.
I don't think it was, the one that was in the Dragon with Exploding Familiar was:
 

Remove Hand

Level: 2
Range: Caster
Duration: Instantaneous
Save: No
Effect:
When this spell is cast, one of the casters hands immediately falls off.
 

Other "golden goodies" from that issue:

Wizard Stalker -- range: 1 inch, summons random level X monster to slay nearest wizard.  A level 7 spell I believe.

Dramij's Instant Death -- range: infinite.  Kills Drawmij, wherever and whoever he is.  As this spell has been around a long time, Drawmij is (rather) annoyed.

Transmute Rock to Stone -- casting time does not include time to determine whether or not it has taken effect.

Stone Breathing -- allows the recipient to breath stone for the duration.

Problem -- the recipient can *only* breath stone for the duration (can not *move* through stone, or *breathe* air) can, however, suck on a pebble for the duration to survive but this is results in a state of disorientation known as being "stoned".
 

Baldness:

 Level:???
 Range: Line of sight
 Duration: Instantaneous
 save: yes
 effect:
    This spell causes all the hair on a creature to fall out unless a saving versus spells is made.  The hair will fall out onto the ground or into garments depending on the location it is on.
 

HairBall servant:

 Level:??
 Range: N/A
 duration: special
 save: N/A
 effect:
    This spell brings forth an entity made of hairball from some unknown plane of existence.  The creature can be summoned to do a specific task and will until that task is complete.  The creature is unaffected by normal wepaons and takes 2x normal damage from fire. Otherwise it has 4 hitdice Ac 3 and can attack by wielding any available weapons.
 

Animate Trash:

 Level: ???
 Range: Special
 Duration: Permanent
 Save: N/A
 effect:
    This spell animats a pile of trash equal to 10 cubic feet of trash to life.The trash monster or heap has no attack forms but can billow an incredibly noxious vapor that repulses all those that fail there save vs spells. The monstrtake 2x normal damage from fire and regenerates 1hp of damage per dice of cold and electrical damage it takes.
 
Prune Skin:

 Level:????
 Range: Touch
 Duration: 10 rnds
 save: yes
 effect:
    This spell causes the touched person skin to prune up as if it had been immersed in water for a significant amount of time unless a save versus spells is made. The spell has no adverse effects otherwise.
