Babette sighs as she looks around the empty tavern. She knows that she can do nothing to assist the team in capturing 'M'. So she did the next best thing serving the tavern full of 'invisible guests'. As soon as she served the last 'invisible guest' the front door of the tavern opened and a young man human in stepped into the tavern. Standing at 6' and having an athletic appearance he had short black hair and powerful brown eyes wearing a purple T-shirt and white shorts. The young man takes a seat at the bar.
"Oh no!" Babette shreeks " You sat on a patron! How can you be so mean?"
The young man decided to play her game
"I didn't mean to. Can you point me to an empty seat miss....."
"OK but must say your sorry to the patron you sat on!"
The young man mumbled something out of earshot of Babette.
"This is too easy. I'm sorry kind sir. "
He looks at the empty chair
"He says "I accept your apology" now can I get you anything? Hey, what's your name?"
"You can call me 'Purps' nice to meet you. I'll take some of that famous ale."
"We don't have any."
"WHAT ?"
Babette explained what has happened to the ale
"You don't say! I know that you want to assist the Bottomburn force in dealing with this 'M' guy. "
"Hey you read minds or something?"
"Oh that's only a hobby of mine. Anyway for now why don't you look into my eyes. "
He then placed Babette under his spell. Babette yawned.
"I'm...getting...very...sleepy. I guess it's nap time."
And within a few short seconds Babette was sleeping like a baby.
"Now my dear Babette, I've been keeping a VERY close eye on you. I sense that the adventures will need more assistance. Now you must help them."
The young man took Babette into his mighty arms and swepted her away to his base of operations. After a long nap in a waterbed. Purps wakes her up with a kiss. Babette opens up her big blue eyes as if she woke up from her perfect dream of finding her knight in shining armor.
"WOW! It's my knight in shining armor! hey, Where am I?"
"Welcome to my Bottomburn base of operations I call it STORMHAVEN."
"Stormhaven: good name. Say I can talk big words now!"
Babette couldn't believe what she is saying.
"What happened to me ? I seem to be a lot smarter. But how did you? "
She looked at Purps.
"You're a..."
"Yep, I am."
Babette kneels before Purps
"WOW, I'm grateful for the gift."
"Please get up. We don't have to be so formal and there isn't time for protocol. I need your aid in this one. "
"Why do you need someone like me? "
"I cannot intervene on this, at least not directly."
"So that's why you need my assistance in this matter?"
"You guessed it! Anyway I choose you because of your innocence and because none of the heroes will suspect someone like you to be the ones to help them. However you must agree to the following conditions."
Babette was overwhelmed with confidence that she can assist the heroes.
"Name them."
"These powers maybe too strong for a normal human too take. You maybe altered in some way. You may end up being an Electrocyber. However that may or may not take place. I have never given these powers to a human before. Also you must make up a story to explain what happened to the old Babette."
"I can say that I read some kind of book of intelligence and wisdom and I read it thinking it was my fairy tale book."
"Hmmm......that could hold some water. Also you must agree to serve me as an agent on this world. I wish I can think of another way that you can assist the heroes. But this is the quickest way. Any other option will take too long! Are you prepare to take the risk as well as the benefits?"
Babette thought in her heart what she must do.
"For too long I've been a barmaid with nothing upstairs. I was only decor. If it means that I must pay the ultimate price then so be it. 'Purps' you have my permission to do what needs to be done. I'll be your agent on this world. The old Babette is gone."
"So be it! Please stand on that white pedestal before you. Also you need these bracers."
Babette put on the bracers as she stood on the pedestal.
"If your ready I'll begin the process."
"All set, Ready when you are. "
Purps began the process. He pulled some levers and pushed a few buttons, then pushed a few levers and pulled a few buttons.
"LYTE.."
He drew out a magical sword that glowed white and pointed it at Babette
"...TRANSFORMER!"
After uttering those words, a big white beam hit Babette. A white glow of some kind surrounded her body. Then a bright light engulfed the transformation room.
"I feel different somehow... I sense something strange I feel like the power of light in within me."
She sees that Purps collapsed. She carries him to a nearby waterbed that magically appeared as he's being placed on the bed. Then, as if by magic, Purps wakes up and tries to sit up.
"You always had it in you. I just assisted you in finding it."
He looks at Babette's new outfit.
"I see that I woke up your charisma side of you. I always like cheerleaders!"
Babette looks and sees the she in now wairing a purple and white cheer-leading outfit.
"Now I'm your personal cheerleader and I like it."
She looks at her wrists.
"By the way ,what's the bracers for?
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I need to fully charge them."
Babette extended her wrists out to him as he touches both bracers they glow white briefly then return to their metallic purple color.
"Just utter this command word ..."
He whispers it in Babette's ear.
"... and you'll be in CYBERMODE. I won't tell you what happens. I'll let that be a surprise. In fact why don't you test your powers out?"
Babette uttered the command word. Nothing happened at first. Then her outfit seems to take on metallic properties.
"Good, very good. Now in this mode you should be able to summon the CYBERLYTE SWORD. Now go ahead try it."
A humanoid target suddenly appeared. Babette jumped high into the air and made a hole in the ceiling. Not knowing what else to say, she relied on her instint.
"CYBERLYTE SWORD, ENGAGE!"
A huge sword appeared in her hands. Then using the CYBERLYTE SWORD she quickly destroyed the humanoid target.
"Well done. Not only that you can use CYBERLITE SWORD but only can use a variety of other weapons like CYBERLYTE SHOT, CYBERLYTE BOW and many others you'll eventually discover them all. I'll also place other powers in them also. Come here."
"Yes ?"
"You also need these AERO WINGS. They will allow you flight..."
"... It's done. You now have the power to help stop 'M' and his forces remember what I instilled in you and the forces of good will prevail. Go now and assist the Bottomburn forces. You want to go to the windpipe mountains. I believe that 'M' is there"
"I'll never let you down. I guess that we'll all find out who 'M' really is!"
Babette transported herself to Bottomburn. She decided on haveing a name for her alter ego when she is in CYBER MODE. She came up with the name of LYTRA because it fit in with her newfound powers.
" 'M!' Your not getting out of this one with your shirt still on your back."
After gaining information on what's been happening with the heroes, she decided that there's no time to waste. Using her Areo Wings, she takes off for the Windpipes.
