I'm the one without the feathers (ok the one with one blue feather *S*). This was taken at the Maryland Renn Faire (that might explain the wierd clothes *L*). The bird is a Red Shouldered Falcon. You can only see one wing because some idiot shot the other one off.

In Maryland (USA) there is a state forest and park service called "Scales and Tales" that tends to as many wounded and endangered animals as they can. Their main source of funding is through donations, and selling pictures of you with one of the animals that will never be able to return to the wild. Such as the one of me above.
