Isiah "Black Hand" Klegg

Submitted by Lon Teal of New Zealand

Background
Isiah is from Missouri and whilst still in his early teens rode with violent guerilla fighters such as George Maddox and "Bloody" Bill Anderson. Klegg is a nasty individual and a violent criminal wanted in the North for the outrages perpetrated by himself and his associates. Klegg's nickname "Black Hand" comes from the injuries he recieved after an old Colt Walker exploded in his hand during the massacre at Two Creeks. The hand is badly scarred and tattoed with black powder burns, the hammer spur of the pistol flew off and ripped his cheek through to the bone leaving a nasty scar from where it was rudely sewn up.
Klegg's yokel drawl and rough looks makes him seem half witted but he is both a cunning and very dangerous individual to cross
And one who kills in cold blood

There are also tales of a gang of guerillas hounded into the high country during the snows. Lacking provisions and holed up in deep caverns containing the bones of a dead Indian tribe, the tales say that the strongest systematically slew and ate the weaker and injured members of their band. But hey, that's just a tale, right?

Appearance
Isiah Klegg would be a normal looking, if somewhat rough individual if it weren't for the mask he wears to cover both his horrible facial scar and his identity. His left cheek is deeply puckered underneath his mask and he wears a thick pair of gloves to cover the "Black Hand" of his namesake. Klegg has pale blue eyes and dirty, blond, straw-like hair and carries a large variety of firearms on both himself and his horse on account of "not wanting to be caught through lack of shootin' back"

Rumour has it he also has the teeth and claws of some strange creature hidden about his person. It's said he was attacked by a nasty critter in the Sioux territories which ate his horse, Klegg was enraged at the loss of his mount and killed the beast, keeping it's sharp bits as trophy. How much truth there is in this story of "Klegg and the Horse Eater" remains to be seen but he does boast a large scar on his chest and arms which appear to have been caused by huge claws...

Quote - "Ya wanna know why ah wear a mask? Only people who ever see what's under ma mask are one's that're gonna be dead real soon...hehe"

Notes...
Morgan "Black Hand" Klegg is actually a Player Character submission but can easily be integrated into any adventure involving outlaws in the Disputed territories, especially if the Posse mixes with Bloody Bill Anderson's gang, this NPC just gives a bit more depth and background to what would ordinarily be "just another henchman", he could even become a major villain himself given his experiences in the Wierd West and his natural ability to survive (not to mention his lethal array of weapons!)
