Background
Spencer served as a through-the-ranks Captain in the Confederate army from 1863 to 1875 but became bored of charging up and down battlefields so formed his own unit of marauders and left the comfort of the army to attack trains for gold, plunder farmsteads for food and women, and generally act irresponsably. The Confederates had better things to do than chase down deserters so sent out a detachment of British Grenadiers, under Captain Aldridge, to bring Rogers' gang back to face trial. Eddie recently found an old map in an Indian settlement that he razed to the ground and is on his way to see what secrets the map will lead him to...
Appearance
Eddie "Spencer" Rogers is in his late 30's, with shoulder length brown hair and sometimes a days growth of stubble on his chin. He sometimes still wears his Confederate uniform, as does his gang, to pretend he still serves the Rebel cause. "Spencer" spent most of his soldiering days on the battlefields and is highly skilled in the art of command and warfare so his fellow deserters love him to bits, but to the trained eye he is an evil looking man and always seems to have a hungry look in his eyes. He never takes his hands off his Spencer rifle, from which he takes his nickname due to his deadeye accuracy with the carbine.
Quote - "I served the Confederacy once before, but there wasn't much fun to be had taking orders from upper class bafoons who'd never seen a battlefield before...I prefer my new lifestyle, I don't have to suffer idiots no more - I just gut 'em.

Eddie "Spencer" Rogers is just another bad dude who thinks he can live the life of the rogue and get away with it. His gang, which consists of 16 other deserters, still operate in a military fashion - Rogers is Commanding Officer, his Sergeant organises the men and the Corporal helps the Sergeant. They were beginning to get tired of sleeping in the rain, always hungry and hunted by the law until Rogers came upon the Indian map, found during a boredom induced raid on a small Commanche settlement, it leads to a burial ground in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains - inside a mountain to be precise - where it is rumoured that some of the Last Sons, fresh from causing the Reckoning, broke away from Raven and took with them a Relic of some power - owned by Raven himself - then hid it in the burial ground, collapsing the labyrinth of tunnels they had built behind them.
The break-away band of Last Sons did this for a reason. They had become disgusted with themselves for taking part in Raven's diabolical plan and decided to do the world a favour by stealing this Relic (which apparently Raven was going to use for some devatating purpose) and hiding it from him. Now Rogers has a copy of the map leading to the hiding place, British troops are on his tail, and no doubt Raven has his own agents out looking fo the relic too. What exactly this Relic does and what it looks like is anybodies guess, but no doubt bad things would happen if it fell into the hands of Eddie Rogers, or worse - Raven!
