Example Lycanthrope
"Barks At The Wind" - Lakota Were-Coyote
Native American lycanthropes have an easier time of things than their white counterparts, simply due to their less cynical society, which is often much closer to Mother Nature and Her workings. If a man turns into a coyote at full moon, then so be it, it is all part of the Great Spirit's plan. Indian Were-Creatures tend not to be hunted by their own kind as abominations, although sometimes they do tend to distance themselves from the rest of the tribe for safety reasons. You never know when a lycanthrope is going to have a "bad change"!
This example character is a Lakota Sioux and is a warrior yet to prove himself to the rest of the tribe. He is jumpy, easily excitable, and fond of tricks - much like his canine alter ego. The rest of his tribe treat him with respect, believing him to be somehow blessed by Coyote himself (a legendary trickster in Indian folklore)
Human Form
Barks At The Wind is a fairly wiry fellow but posesses incredible stamina and strength for his size. He has long dark hair and bronzed skin from his life on the plains. Most of the time he plays it shy, especially around people he doesn't know but there always seems to be an inner light in his eyes...

Were-Coyote Form
In his half human/half coyote form Barks At The Wind grows in size, becomes resistant to most damage, has sharp claws and teeth and becomes covered in light brown fur. He even sprouts a tail. The Indian is still his old self (unless he fails his control test of course!) and has all the skills and knowledges he had in human form, but he is now fiercer and stronger and a lot more equipped to kill!

Most lycanthropes have at least 1 point in Calm The Beast, apart from those raving loonies who enjoy giving in to the destructive urges inside, of course. You may think that an Overawe of 4d8 is still not high enough for a 7 foot tall monster, but don't forget that all lycanthropes also have a Terror rating to reflect this, the Overawe bonus reflects the additional confidence one has when they can sprout claws and shrug off bullets, not their terrifying appearance
Full Coyote Form
When in the full beast form Barks At The Wind now looks like any other ordinary coyote, apart from maybe the intelligent gleam in his eyes. He may also use his WolfBrother power and lead a small pack of Coyotes to do his bidding. In this form he has dark beige fur, enhaced senses and speed, and a penchant to yap a lot. His teeth are still quite dangerous however

Lycanthrope Powers - WolfBrother (Coyotes) 2
Lycanthrope stats in Full Beast form vary somewhat, depending upon the animal form they assume. I've increased Barks At The Wind's Sneak and Search by one point as a Coyote (on top of the other usual changes) and dropped his Strength by a step, as well as reduced his Size down to 4
