Believe it or not, there are other people on the internet who've devoted a major portion of their sites to helping you mine the most from your Chip's Challenge game! All of the sites on this page are true fan sites in one way or another, and all have something special to offer to the Chip's affectionado.
- Atari Lynx cheat codes, hints, FAQ's
- A full listing of the Atari Lynx passwords, and an excellent description of the Mandelbrot fractal generator (exclusive to the Atari version of the game.)
- Atari Lynx Page.
- This site is jam packed with great information for the Atari player, and plenty of it will interest the PC player too. Of specific note within the site are Game Reviews for all Atari games including Chip's Challenge; Game Tips & Tricks for all Atari games including Chip's Challenge (it's got the best description I've seen so far of the Atari Lynx fractal generator); Game Rankings (good old Chip's still stacks up pretty well against the competition); and (no doubt the place they got the game rankings), a Game Voting Page, where you can cast your ballet for your favorite game. Hmmmm. Wonder which that would be?
- Chip's Challenge Editor
- For those of you who think 149 levels were far too few, here is your chance to rectify things. This editor will let you create your own levels for the classic Chip's Challenge! There is also some very interesting information about bugs in the PC version of the game, which you can find by following the links on the site.
- Go Bit Buster!
- This page is part of an Atari Lynx manual archive at the Bobbo's Creations Inc. site. It contains a fine description and lots of detail for the Atari player on how to load and play the Chip's Challenge game. PC players may be interested in the difference in terminology for common tools and hazards between the two versions of the game.
- Microsoft Search Wizard.
- Follow the link above, type "Chip's Challenge" in the search box on the resulting page, and select Support & the Knowledge Base as the category to search. You will also find one lost entry by searching under "Chips Challenge" (with no apostropy). The search engine should bring you several pages about Chip's Challenge. You may have to register (it's free) before viewing a page if you haven't been there before.
- msn's Classic Computer Games.
- If your browser supports a newsreader, just click on the link above to visit msn's public bulletin board. It's the Home of the Charter Chipsters who are still actively trading tips and tricks and going for the high scores. Drop in and say hello! This thriving community of Chip's players is always glad to see a new face, and they like nothing better than to help new players achieve all the levels.
- Richard Field's Chip's Challenge Page.
- This site is a must see for all Chip's fans! It includes tips, high scores, and lots of technical information for those interested in disecting the innards of the game. There are also some new levels that fans have created using the Chip's editor. Yep. There's a link for that too!
Have fun exploring, and hurry back!
