GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF SONIC FICTION
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following are guidelines for submitting your (yes, *your*)
Sonic the Hedgehog fan fiction to be posted on the Sonic the Webhog
Webpage (owned and operated by Roland Lowery) for everyones viewing
pleasure.
Stories will not be posted if these guidelines are not followed.
These are not rules, per se, but it makes it much easier on me and on you
to follow them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Put my address (rlowery@taurus.oursc.k12.ar.us) in the "To:"
field of your mailing program.
2) Put the words "Sonic Fiction" in the "Subject:" field.
3) In the body of the message, put a short summary of the story.
This summary will be placed under the link to your story.
4) Under the summary, type in whatever legal text you use.
6) Under the leagalese, type in your story.
Anything else (like an author's note) can be placed anywhere
between the legalese and the story text.
I won't take the story in any file format (i.e., don't send your
story as a .wri, .wpd, etc. file.), with one exception. I have decided
that the story MAY be sent as a .txt file. It must be in the body of the
e-mail, or sent as a .txt file.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Example (in the PINE program, which is what I use):

Subject: Sonic Fiction
---------Message----------
Summary: Sonic and Knuckles go running around doing some
stuff. Sally shakes her head sadly because Robotnik is up to something
spooky, . . .
The characters in this story are copyrighted by a bunch of people:
Archie Comics, DIC Productions, Fleetway Comics, SEGA! Enterprises, etc.
All other characters are copyrighted by ME!
Author's note: This story was written by me, because I wanted to.
It was done on a dime a day budget and I was hot and cramped most of the
time. I had a broken arm and am now legally blind in my left eye.
Therefore, this is the LAST story I write. I hope my only fan
understands. Sorry, Greg.
The Hunt for Red Echidna
By Ronald Frobnitz
Sonic looked up at the title of the story, and said, "What the hey
is that? The Hunt for Red Echidn- waitaminute, does that mean Knuckles is
in this story?"
"That's right, spiney," said Knuckles. Then he started talking in
Russian.
"What?" said Sonic. "Speak some sense, man!"
"I think this is a parody of a movie," said Knuckles, "or an
example for submitting stories to be posted on a webpage."
"Oh," said Sonic.

I now have a rating system instated on the stories posted on my
page. However, if your story is still too strong, it may not be posted at
all! If I do decide to post it, it will be in a separate section from the
rest of the stories.
If you want to suggest your own rating on your story(s), then
place it somewhere in your story (preferably in the author's note).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One last thing. It may take me a while to read and post your
story, anywhere from one day to a week. I do send a message to you
telling you if your story was posted or not, just so you don't sit around
wondering.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Get it? Got it? Good. Now go out there and start sending in
those stories!
