The Adventures of Bass 2
That's the name of the game.
Bass 2 is a hack I made of Mega Man 2 during the year of 2001. I came up with the idea in 1999, but I didn't have the resources available back then to make the product which I present to you now.

This is a pretty large change of Mega Man 2. The main features include altered levels, altered colors, a few altered sprites, and even a different storyline. Gamers should find the hack more challenging than the original Mega Man 2.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the hack and have fun playing it.

Download the IPS patch for Bass 2
Download an IPS patching program here

You will need this program to patch the ROM. Now, since it seems like so many people don't know how to use DOS Prompt, I'll put some very easy instructions on how to use an IPS.

First, make a copy of your Mega Man 2 rom and put it in your main C drive. Not in any folder. Rename the file to bass2.

Now, download the program and the IPS patch above and put both of those in your main C drive.

Open your MS-DOS Prompt and if you do not see just C:\> on the screen, type cd\ and then hit enter. Now you should see C:\>

Type in this line exactly: ips bass2.nes bass2.ips
Press enter

Put the ROM back in your NES rom directory (or wherever you want it) and that is all there is to it.

Happy gaming!
