Physical Description: Umfrane is more elvish than human in appearance (angular features, pale skin, blue eyes, long silver hair), but a hereditary large "quarter moon" facial birthmark decreases his attractiveness. Left-handed. 5', 11" tall, 150 lbs. When "on a job," he wears a black hood to conceal his identity.

Background: His father, a Dark Elf mage, disavowed his culture for his mother, a Half-Elf. Not belonging in any Elven society, they were constantly on the move and struggling. A similar yet more severe incident involved his paternal grandfather, also a Dark Elf mage, who abandoned the family for a human enchantress. Fearing a similar destiny, Umfrane avoids serious romantic relationships with any woman.

During the Great Orc War, Umfrane was trapped in border town which successfully staved off an Orcish siege. He learned to admire humans and other races.

He avoids all talk of his family. If pressed, he'll claim he came from a small, unnamed tribe that was wiped out during the war.

Umfrane is a burglar who avoids conflict whenever possible -- he's after quick and easy riches. He was poor throughout his youth and he never wants to be poor again.
