1. e4 e5
2. Ke2? Nc6
3. Ke3?
I invented this, probably under the influence of alcohol(but I don't drink!). At least I have never seen this opening before (nobody is that crazy!). The only thing I can say about it is I beat Robert Donald once with it(!!!) and Michael Chang three times(!!!!!) with it. It's an awesome blitz weapon, because the people stare at you and think you're crazy, so they clock out.

For White : Michael Chang (from our club, not the tennis player) was probably taken aback at this impudent opening. We were playing two minute blitz, and Michael loves defending a King's Indian Defense. Imagine his suprise at this opening! If black opts for the King's Indian, it may not be so bad, for although white is down a tempo and his king is exposed, black can't do anything about it. A most useful blitz opening.
For Black : This line is too passive. Since the king wishes to lead the attack, he should be the first to go. Develop, and for once, an early queen development isn't too bad.
