CHS SPORTS DAY 2000

This year saw the annual Chatham House Sports Day in the evening, for the third year running. It was hearalded as a great success with almost a full turnout of pupils and parents. Unfortunatly the timing co-incided with the music tour of Italy so some of our finer sports men were unable to attend.

The evening, for the first time, had a Pims and G & T tent, run by Thorley Taverns, so all the parents could enjoy a drink whilst watching their children race. The tent must have been popular as it made well in excess of £100!

The commentary was done this year by the excellent Mr. Bury, using the P.A. System set up by myself!

Throughout the duration of the evening I walked around the crowds taking photos of the runners and also capturing the mood with pictures of the crowd. These can all be seen below. If you click on the thumbnail, the full size pic will open up in a new window.
