The Half Life CD come with many skies, that are installed automaticly with the game. But you can also download some custum skys. You will find a lot of them at deconstruct.
Unzip the sky in your C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\valve\gfx\env folder (maybe you'll have to create a "gfx\env" folder). Players will have to download the same sky and put it at the same place. Don't forget to tell them!
Any Quake 2 sky should word with Half Life. The only problem is that you cannot distribute a Quake 2 sky, players have to buy the game.

How to choose a sky?
In Worldcraft, go to "map", "map properties", then "environment map". There you are. You can chose how your map sky gonna look. Just type the name and voilà !

snow2 Same as "snow", at night. You can download it at deconstruct.
snow Wow! You fight in mountains. This is a "5 stars" sky. You can download it at deconstruct.
jump Simply the best sky ever. You are n space, there are a lot of beautiful spacecraft. You can download it at deconstruct.
swamp2 Jungle feeling. You can download it at deconstruct.
swamp1 Very dark jungle feeling. Too dark. You can download it at deconstruct.
Death Star (name = inds) À la Star Wars. You can download it at deconstruct.

dessert Same desert, mid-day. Inclued in the game.
dusk Same desert, at dusk. Cool Inclued in the game.
