Cape Lax whooped the overrated CR team

Cape Topples CR..... 16-2
The Cape Henlopen Lacrosse team won bragging rights in the state of Delaware with an impressive victory over previously unbeaten Caesar Rodney. Cape dominated all areas of the game as they cruised to an easy victory over the highly touted Riders. The Cape attack, which scored 16 goals, was lead by the three-headed monster of Joey Cahill, Steve Conlon and Steve Welsh. Each player scored and played their best game as an attack this season. Midfield was controlled by Cape as Mark Moore continued to deliver monsterous hits. Eddie Savarese, Jamie Pratt, Zac Palmer and Kyle Archer played aggressively and smothered the CR players. The cape defense again played well. Golaie Chris Keller played an outstanding game allowing only two goals, as Corey Mahoney, Alex Hense and Matt Lambrose shut the vaunted CR attack down. The win gives Cape added confidence in their quest for the Sate Title.
