Existential Intelligence

Existential Intelligence refers to the ability to pose and ponder questions about death and life and even ultimate realities. People who possess this type of intelligence are usually philosophers, and great thinkers. Some examples of people who possess this intelligence are Aristotle, Confucius, Plato and Socrates.

Obviously this intelligence is cross-cultural because those examples come from a large range of cultures and time periods. Everyone has the capacity to think and pose questions.

There is a biological factor to this because children are born with curiosity. Especially existentialist children may begin asking questions like "why am I here on Earth?" and "What was the world like before I was born?" at an early age.
