Ash Ketchum: Ash is a ten-year-old boy from Pallet who sets out to become the greatest pokemon master in the world. His biggest rival is Gary Oak. Ash picked up two traveling companions along his journey, the Pewter City gym leader, Brock, and the young Misty from Cerulean City. Together the three have become best friends, although Misty is often found putting Ash down about the way he trains his Pokemon.

Brock: is a nineteen years old boy from Pallet who was also a gym leader but went along with Ash after Ash defeated him. He is trying to become the world’s best Pokémon breader. He will do anything for a girl. Brock has gotten a lot of Pokemon on his journey with little Ash, including a Zubat and a beautiful Vulpix, which he got from one of the worlds best Pokemon Breaders. Brock is the trio's cook and Pokemon nutrition.

Misty: is a thirteen year old girl from Cerulean City who was a gym leader until she left to be the worlds best water Pokémon trainer. She met Ash when he stole her bike to save Pikachu and wrecked it. Misty has however become attached to Ash, and has helped him through his struggle to become the worlds best Pokemon trainer. Misty has three sisters back in Cerulean city. Misty is almost always found struggling with her Psyduck, which is a total loss of a Pokemon until it's headache gets so bad it can use it's psychic attacks.

Prof. Oak: Professor Oak is a Pokemon Professor back in Pallet Town. Oak gave Ash his first Pokemon, a Pikachu. Oak has helped Ash through his Pokemon Journey, and is prehaps one of the only people who believe in Ash's ability as a trainer. Professor Oak is trying to catalogue all the Pokemon in the world, using his invention, the Pokedex.

Gary: Gary is a Pokémon trainer from Pallet and is ten years old. Gary did better than Ash in everything except in the Pokémon league. He is Professor Oak’s grandson. He is so conceited that he has his own cheerleading squad. Gary is Ash's biggest rival, and has some pretty impressive training skills and Pokemon compaired to Ash.

Todd: The world's greatest Pokemon photographer! First seen in the episode Pokemon Papparazzi, Todd decides to follow Ash around because Ash is always running in to Pokemon with great rarity. After a long "battle" to get a shot of pikachu he decided to join the group.

 Officer Jenny: The Officer Jenny(s) are sisters of Nurse Joy(s) and help fight crime all over. Whether it is catching a trickster kid who steals people's Pokemon and simply teaches him a lesson or if it be to train Growlithes and use them as police dogs, they're always ready to serve and protect.

Nurse Joy: There are actually many Nurse Joys who are all twin cousins. They work at all the PokeCenters and the Pokemon Hospitals. They're also all sisters of Officer Jenny(s).

Jesse: Jesse is the female member of one of Team Rocke's groups of evil doers. Jesse is more of the ringleader of the gang, which includes a Meowth that is really in charge, and James. Jesse is wrapped up in fashion, which you can tell by her butt length skirt.

James: James is Jesse's partner in Team Rocket. He is always being picked on, and sometimes seems like he is partially good.

Ash's Mom: What can I say? She is Ash's mother. She recently acquired a Mr. Mime to help her out around the house. Ash's mother is obsessed with him changing his underwear everyday.

Cassidy: has blonde hair and brown eyes. She is almost the same as Jesse. She is around eighteen years old. She and Butch have a Raticate.

Butch: has green hair his eye color is unknown. He is almost the same as James. He is around eighteen years old. He shares a Raticate with Cassidy.

Giovanni: has black hair and brown eyes. His age is unknown (probably middle aged). He is the leader of Team Rocket. His favorite pokemon are Persian and Mewtwo.
