Lady Taylir

As I's begin ta log my history, I's afraid ta say, that much of it is a blur ta me. Although as legend leads me ta believe, thar is enuff ta tell, so now I's begin my log.

It'was around my twentieth birtday when I's awoke that cold damp mornin' near tha base of tha Voranavis mountains. I's still ain't quite sure how exactly I's gots thar, though my dreams provide a picture of what I's encountered somewhat.

Lemme tell yas of tha dream a bit.

It'was a starless evenin' tha' night, frum what I's kin tell. I's sit upon a great Krol ship, alls I's kin 'ear is screamin' and hollarin', though I's try ta keep myself away frum it alls, thar is no way ta hide on such a ship. I's kin see war, blood, murder and tha Krol are winnin' tha battle. Tha battle didn't take long at'alls afore it'was o'er with. I's still alive amongst sum'of my family and several others upon tha ship.

Thas alls I's kin member frum my dreams, stories of tha battle tell me I's an' my family was subject ta tha great Krol forget spells, which wipe a person's memory clean.

This alls makes sense ta me, bein' hows I kin't member bein' on tha ship or bein' wiff any o'my family at'alls. An' thus brings us ta my great travel ta tha town of Whenimer's Landing.

Standin' solemnly wiff myself and the breeze in my face, I picked a direction and walked, a walk that would never seem to end. With me was a scrapy ol' heavy backpack, wiff nothing in it, and I's found me an ol' rotting shield to carry through tha forests to come. I's wasn't even sure who I was, or why I was 'ere, but walkin' for as long as I did put some rather strange thoughts in my lil' head. I'd reached inta my pocket and found this rather beautiful stone in't. Blankly starnin' at tha thing fer a bit, I rubbed it, and ta my suprise a beautiful black cat walked up ta me.

As tha cat and I's walked, she spoke o'my family, as if she knew who I was or where I's came frum. She spoke o'my parents and how they'd been searchin' fer me fer years. She spoke o'when I took off with my aunts. Alas, she called me Taylir Ye'Sidul, o'tha Sidul clan. From thar on in, I's was someone, not jus' a stranger. As we walked we had many conversations, about anything ones mind can imagine, but everytime I's asked 'er bout my family, she would speak nothing at all for moments afterward. A mystery is my past, but I's now gots a name, a friend in 'er, and I know I's got family, or had them at one time, this set my mind at a bit of an ease.

Now 'ere I am, not knowin' which way ta go, where I's goona end up and now I got this cat followin' me 'round. Suddenly tha cat ta my delight started to walk ahead o'me by a few feet, never strayin' ta far, but far enuff as ta where she was almost leadin' tha way. Forest after forest, day and night, rivers streams and hills had gone by, I's at one time thought that t'was never goona end, and when I's was ready ta give up all hope at e'er findin' another life form, there it was in tha distance, a town.

I's musta traveled some six or seven days afore I ever did see this town but now determined ta git thar, I's picked up tha pace. I's could see tha gate now, and turnin' round ta see where tha cat went, I's noticed she was gone. I's stopped fer a second and wondered if tha cat was ever really thar, or jus' somethin' sent ta help me find my way. Ne'ertha less, I was nearin' tha gate of tha town I'd end up livin' ta this day in.

I's now fifty-one year's old, and lookin' back on what I's been through since I first stepped foot in tha town 'ere, I's almost proud o'myself. I's took up with a trainer tha diligently teached me how ta open tha locks on dese 'ere treasure chests some'o tha critters tha folks in town hunt leave behind, as well as became perty good at huntin' myself. I's now married to a man of tha same profession, Tyrkharas. He still makes my'eart best a ten times more a second e'erytime he steps foot in tha same room as I's.

I's eventually found sum'o my family, three aunts and an uncle, who as I dunno any'mor o'my history than I's do. I's dun tend ta think 'bout it much these days, as I's been keepin' myself busy. With a young daughter and son runnin' round, and work ta be done at tha House Aspis, I's pretty much decided I'was happy where I's am in me life now......

I's decided to end this log 'ere, as thar is much more history fer me ta go out thar and make, 'stead o'writtin' it all down 'ere... as always

Taylir Ye'Sidul-Kazigonth
