![]() Recent reports show that the super powers Bill Gates and Howard Lincoln have joined forces to combine console gaming and home PC use into one, affordable, portable package. The current plans for this new gaming system include the connection of a keyboard, mouse, and floppy drive with the 32-bit Virtual Boy. When asked why the technology was being used on Virtual Boy rather than Nintendo 64, Lincoln stated "The Virtual Boy's marketing plan has already been fouled up. If the project is successful and Virtual Boy sales go up, we may adapt the feature to the Nintendo 64 in early '98." The two reluctantly revealed that the new Windows 97 will be included along with Microsoft Office 97, a mouse, keyboard, floppy or zip drive, and a speedy 56.6 bps modem for an all-in-one package of $199. Gates suggests that a web browser may be included with the package by its release date, but nothing is definite at this point in time. "Being much more affordable than a portable notebook, the PC Boy should revolutionize the way today's consumers use computers," states the confident Gates. |
