For a thousand years, the denizens of Olive Valley have lived together in relative peace. But two years ago that peace was shattered by the Orc Nation. A horde of angry orcs came out of their northern territories and descended upon the quiet village of Kimmersan. Not only did they kill every last man, woman and child, but they leveled every building, destroyed all the plants and slaughtered the livestock.
When it was done, the devastation was far worse than anything the valley had ever seen. All of the bodies were destroyed beyond recognition. Some were nothing more than piles of ash, the rest weren't even that lucky. In fact, there was only one survivor who was found amongst the buried rubble.
The massacre at Kimmersan was the event that started the Alliance. The humans, elves and dwarves who had been living with the orcs in an uneasy peace banded together and decided to take up arms against a common enemy.
