Rocky's original owner died in an accident on the Cape and he was surrendered to Chihuahua Rescue and Transport. We are volunteers for CRT and went to pick up Rocky for transport to his Foster home, because it was a holiday weekend he was to spend the night at our home and then go to his Foster family the next day. We got 1/3 of the way to his Foster home and decided to keep him. And we will never be sorry we did!
Rocky is a very well behaved and not at all the a-typical stereotype of a Chihuahua. He doesn't bark, whine or nip and he is friendly and personable. As you can see from his pictures he is a very happy and attentive little dog.
Rocky is being trained to be a night vision assistance dog helping Chrystie with finding her way in the dark when we are camping, etc. He goes to work at Compaq Computer Corporation each day as part of that training and many people remark at how well behaved and quiet he is.
