I have been an admirer of Subramanya Bharathi, who wrote great poems in his short life of 36 years. I have been able to get some poems of Bharathi from the net , which are reproduced below.

From the sublime world of Bharathi and Bharathidasan, let me take you to my ridiculous effort. Once my wife told me to remind her to soak idli and udad dal for idli. I wrote this silly verse and pasted it on the kitchen door.
