Backdrop of our Chronicle

West Palm Beach is a city that practically spans an entire county.  Home to nearly 1.2 million people, this massive sprawl of near-unbroken development stretches from the farthest southern edge of the county to nearly the northern boundary.  A "city" this size could hardly be ignored by the power-hungry Vampire sects, but after numerous battles for control all ended in a stalemate, both Sabbat and Camarilla decided to ignore this expansive metropolis in favor of easier pickings.

At least, until now.  Both sects have caught wind of plans by the other to attempt yet another takeover of West Palm.  Naturally, both sides immediately mobilized to beat the other to the punch.  This is where, as always, things start to get messy...

West Palm Beach Area Cities


West Palm Beach City proper - Social and political seat of the county, sprawling downtown area.
Surrounded by upper-class communities and country clubs.
Royal Palm Beach - Secondary center of power within the county, upper-class, major downtown area.
Lake Worth - Mostly a middle-class bedroom community, with large tracts of smaller housing near a major downtown area.
Wellington - Upper-class community, far-flung points of interest, no real downtown.
Greenacres - Sleepy middle-class community crammed inside Lake Worth.
Lantana - Laid-back, small town atmosphere, shoved between Lake Worth and the ocean.
