Journal of Gornul Rockhead

Day 1, in Alleria Prime
Gornul spent the day at the house a business associate of his father's so kindly gave him.  Prime didn't seem to be to his liking, but he prepared to make a go of it.  He went to the store, and purchased a fairly large amount of food.  With nothing better to do, Gornul read the rest of the day.

Day 2
Gornul went to the Smith in Prime, but the service was abysmal.  After waiting nearly an hour to even get noticed, he gave up and wandered the city.

Day 3
After having noticed numerous posters about the city proclaiming the Alyssan Military Academy in Midpoint, Gornul decided to check out the recruiting center.  He was very interested, so he signed up, sold his house, and departed with his new teammates to Midpoint.  His teammates at that point are: Amleigh Lynn, Rygar Huffin, Danil Silverblade, Hazzy Roffin, Tygoor Ironhide, Cain
Darkscorpion, Thelvyn Fox-Eyes, and Chris Yong.

Days 4-7, trip to Midpoint
Gornul makes fast friends with many members of his group along the trip.  A detour to help a caravan to

Day 8, in Midpoint
Gornul was assigned a room very shortly after arriving, and got settled very well.  His team, Kappa, was quite large on the first day.  He stashed most of his belongings in his room, had a drink and meal at the Tired Griffin tavern, and then goes to bed.

Day 18
During sword training, Safra, the last member of Omega Squad, joins Kappa, becoming the only female team member.  As one could imagine, this was a development well-liked by the rest of Kappa, Danil in particular.

Day 34
After several weeks of torturous exercise, training sessions, and no small amount of adventures around the city, Kappa's numbers had been whittled down to Danil Silverblade, Darkscorpion, Dragon al'Thor, Safra, and Gornul.  The others went AWOL, and haven't been seen since.

Day 35
Gornul meets an interesting girl, Mrooly O'Var-Var, as she enters town.  They go to the Inn and have drinks, chat a bit, and the like.

Day 38
Gornul spends some time in the Midpoint Town square. He sees Mrooly again, for the last time.  He also purchases a topaz and gold ring, which he wears from that day on.

Day 40
Dragon al'Thor and Darkscorpion are kidnapped after a fierce battle with the brother of an Academy trainer, Tora the Lionman.  Tora and the remaining cadets are given 3 days to recover their comrades.
