The world of Taer has been tainted by the wars, plagues, and desolation that
overran it's people 50 years ago. Most settlements are villages no
larger than 50 people , and only a handful of towns have more than 100
inhabitants.
The countryside is inhabited by feral, twisted beasts, bandits, and would-be warlords. Several minor fiefdoms have been established in what passes for fertile lands, and the so-called "nobles" rule their serfs mercilessly. The Dra'z invasions from the south have not occurred since before the Great Chaos, but rumors of packs of bizarre lizardmen near Lake Caedlar have caused some elders to wonder if the Dra'z are perhaps stalking the lands again. |
The Lands of Al'Vindray![]() |
Al'vindray, ancestral home of the noble elves, once developed magics that improved the quality of life throughout the kingdoms. Originally hailing from the Sa'lor Forest at the western edge of the continent, the elves spread throughout the La'nai Plains, and eventually established settlements in the Lys'an Forest and the foothills of the Nalon Heights. The largest cities are now fields of smashed rubble, and the once- fertile farmlands are now blood-stained from battles. |
The Lands of Camecia![]() |
The territory of Camecia was once the
most prosperous of the three kingdoms. With the largest forests and
farmlands, Camecia supplied much to the other kingdoms. The once-mighty cities of Camecia were ground into dust by the wars, as they were trapped between the two invading armies. Fields of battle still lie silent and untouched, testament to the fear that grips the Humans at the thought of awakening the past. |
The Lands of Terandy![]() |
Terandy is the ancestral home of the Dwarves.
Hilly and snow-covered in the north, Terandy's southern region contained
many mighty cities, and included the nearby plains territory. Little is known of the present state of affairs in Terandy, and the Dwarves wandering the southern lands won't talk. It can be presumed that the tragedies that befall the Elves and Humans were mirrored in the North as well. |
