The second game session started after a two week interlude. One weekend was a wedding, the other weekend was a wash with noone showing up. Unfortunately, Tina had time to Plan *shudder*. To our (mis?)fortune, Jason didn't show up to this game. Now, I'm not one to call anyone a munchkin without reason, but I always felt like sining "We represent, the lolipop guild, the lolipop guild, the lolipop guild" everytime he talked about past characters (I mean, really. Who plays a Red Dragon???????)

Gwar and Serif held their own, having Elf-bot as a driver/watcher/navigator so they could travel nonstop. Two days later (as opposed to a projected 4-5 days JUST to reach the swamp!) they came upon the edge of the swamp due west of the area they were to search. The raft continued to be useful, as it provided a mobile base (solif platform) and continued serving as a vessel through the muddy reaches of the swamp. Poling became slower, but still a steady pace for about 2 1/2 days, when the area that the old sorcerer's cave was. This is when Mr. Rock (a.k.a. Splinter) came in handy. Half-Orcs are strong. Mr. Rock is light. Combine the two, and you've got ground-launched short-term surveylance "satelites". Only took one throw to get close, and a second to find out exactly where we needed to go. Again with the Mr. Rock being useful, as he was able to wander around underwater without harm (rock's don't breathe!).

While the rock did some peliminary exploring, and scouting, the biggest discovery was (Knowledge(Arcane) roll by Serif said the swamp wasn't natural) a decanter of endless water pumping out full-stream. Making the swamp in the first place. One Ecological disaster later, the decanter was off, and the swamp was draining.

The swamp drained, and the game session ended. BUT! There HAS been a new development since the last game session. A VERY important decision was made by Serif the moment the decanter was turned off. To find out about it, you're gonna have to read the outtake though! It's going to change the nature of the game!
