That's right, I'm picking back up the chronicles (maybe). The last gae session was easy:
There was a BIG fight that took all of 21 seconds. Pete moved like lightning, but soe of the eney moved as fast or faster. The Combat Master Hale didn't quite shine in this battle as he had in the past, but he soaked up the brunt of the suprise, in the form of bullets ripping through his undead flesh. The lead in kills was claied by Marick's Bodyguard, Pete Hall, and (wonder of wonders) Claudia took the number two spot. arik got one of the ghouls, bringing the count to 2 dead vamps 4 dead ghouls, and severely hurt party-members.
In the midst of all this, whle everyone was blinded by a flash-bomb Sin got into a Sedan that has come screaming onto the scene and was taken away. How the Settite (who are more sensitive to light than ANY of the other clans) could even SEE to get into the car, uch less why he would in the first place are mysteries.
Of course, walking into a trap was kinda the plan (wander around until they attack us WAS the plan) it didn't look too good for the party in the early stages. Pete's speed took him away from the rest of the party while Merik's Ragnarok turned part of a building into rubble. Merik isn't best pleased with his new toy. Sin was as good as usual with hs sword, but his opponent (Codename: Neo) was the modern version of the 'Tumblemaster'. His dodge wasn't just good, it was phenominal.
The Malkavian was as crazy as usual, but inflicting others with his madness cause several frenzied Brujah's to take off, out of the fight. Wich was good for Pete, as he'd gotten the two mad in the first place and was their target (read: obsession with frenzied vamps) before they took off.
Claudia was up on a rooftop fighting the opposing sniper who'd dropped Hale out of the fight and she started drinking his blood. One headshot later, she KO'ed him for real, and couldn't gain anything fro Diablorie as he was 13th Gen also.
Hale wanted no part of the $30,000 reward the party got from turning in dead Sabbat (wich in retrospect is odd...he's doing so any OTHER things for money...) so he wasn't in for a cut of the money. Merik decided that Pete had impressed his so that Pete got the 1500ish that was on the bodies. The Malkavian took his share of the bounty and split while Pete, Merik, and Claudia went shopping (after a car wash). Hale and Grek made it to Dre's place and snacked on the rats therin. The Rat-feeder is empty. They proceeded to Sin's place to begin the search, and didn't find him. Grek left Hale and went back to Dre's place.
End of the session, of wich the fightt took 3 real-life hours. Celerity is fun but it slows down fights! Now you have a taste of what it will be like to attack the Giovanni stronghold...except there will be MANY MORE 'people' involved. Maybe an all-day Sunday game session dedicated to the fight might get it all...
